He is the former research assistant to J. Thomas McCarthy, author of McCarthy on Trademarks and Unfair Competition and The Rights of Publicity and Privacy. Stewart earned the USF Law Intellectual Property & Technology Law Certificate with honors and received a CALI award for Intellectual Property Survey.
